The National League of Cities (NLC) and CH2M HILL announced that Anchorage, Alaska was chosen as a finalist for the 2009 Awards for Municipal Excellence: “Anchorage’s F Street Connectivity project truly embodies the spirit in which America’s cities excel and welcome the future,” said Donald J. Borut, NLC Executive Director. “NLC congratulates Anchorage for its successful efforts to help the community thrive.”
Overview
E Street is a key north/south corridor running through the heart of downtown Anchorage, providing a direct link between the Alaska Railroad depot at Ship Creek, the Delaney Park Strip, and everything in between.
