Destination Downtown Updates for May 8 - May 14
We hope to keep you informed about the downtown construction projects throughout the summer. We will use this list to give you up to the minute changes that might affect your traffic patterns or your business.

E St. between W. 6th Ave. and W. 8th Ave.
Beginning Friday, May 9th at 7 PM through Monday, May 12th at 6 AM, expect multiple lane shifts and closure on E St. between W. 6th Ave. and W. 8th Ave. for underground utility work. E St. traffic will be shifted into a single parking lane for northbound travel. Please observe traffic control devices and drive with caution.

G St. at 7th Ave.
The intersection of G St. and W. 7th Ave. will be closed Friday, May 9 at 7:00 PM through Monday, May 12 at 6:00 AM for sidewalk improvements, traffic signalization, lighting, and paving work.
The City Hall alley will maintain two-way access at G St. for traffic. Please follow appropriate detour routes and use caution.
During these closures,the traffic pattern for entry and exit for both the 6th and 7th Avenue Garages will be impacted.
Friday evening May 9 until Monday morning, May 12: Vehicles exiting the 6th Avenue Garage onto G Street, will be required to turn left, and go North on G Street, then east on 6th Avenue. G Street, south of the alley between the 6th & 7th Avenue Garages, will be closed to all vehicle traffic.
THERE WILL BE NO ACCESS TO BOTH ENTRANCE LANES FOR THE 7TH AVENUE GARAGE (G Street Entrances)

F St. between W. 6th Ave. and W. 7th Ave.
Beginning Thursday, May 1, expect a full road closure on F St. between W. 6th Ave. and W. 7th Ave. for road, sidewalk and intersection improvements. All businesses will have access and alternate pedestrian detour routes will be provided. Please follow appropriate detour routes and use caution.

Anchorage Market & Festival (W. 3rd Ave.)
Beginning Saturday, May 10th through Sunday, September 7th, expect lane closures and pedestrian crossings on W. 3rd Ave. between C St. and E St. each Saturday and Sunday from 6 AM through 6 PM for the Anchorage Market & Festival. Please drive with caution and watch for pedestrians.
