Traffic Control Plan - E Street & 7th Avenue UPDATED

Here you can find the Traffic Control Plan for the joint closures of ML&P’s E Street lane closure and Davis’ 7th Avenue closure. The final approved date for the joint closure is Friday, May 9 @ 7 PM through Monday, May 12 @ 6 AM.

Construction on the F St. Connectivity Project

May 2nd, 2008

Construction on the F St. Connectivity Project has commenced. This project is managed by Alaska Center for Convention and Trade, LLC for the Municipality of Anchorage and constructed by Davis Constructors and Engineers. Work will be occurring within and near Town Square Park. The Park will remain “Open” but will be fenced off in areas to protect users. The work is scheduled to begin May 1, 2008, continuing throughout the summer.

Construction Update for 6th & 7th garages

Due to construction projects on nearby streets, the traffic pattern for entry and exit for both the 6th and 7th Avenue Garages will be impacted. Please take note of the dates, times and traffic patterns listed below, and drive safely.

Glenn Highway & Bragaw Street Closures UPDATED

April 28th, 2008

The Glenn-Bragaw Interchange Project will allow three lanes of traffic in each direction on the Glenn Highway to flow under a new raised Bragaw Street. Off ramps on the Glenn Highway for east and west bound Bragaw Street traffic will be added as will a Bragaw Street pedestrian underpass. The interchange is expected to be completed the fall of 2008.
